Synthesis and biodistribution of technetium-99m-labelled N-(diethylaminoethyl)benzamide via a bis(dithiocarbamate) nitridotechnetium(V) complex
Résumé
N-(2-diethylaminoethyl)-4-iodobenzamide has been reported to be an excellent agent for malignant melanoma diagnosis by SPECT. To obtain a 99mTc analogue, we synthesized a sodium N-{2-[4-(N-diethylaminoethylcarbamoyl)phenyl]ethyl}-N-methyldithiocarbamate ligand in 7 steps from methyl 4-(bromomethyl)benzoate. The corresponding nitridotechnetium complex formed by a ligand exchange method was purified and its biodistribution in mice bearing the B16 murine melanoma was determined.
