Abstract
Dignity is now an almost ubiquitous reference point in law. As such, it is closely related to bioethical issues. It is interesting to note both the commonalities between these two concepts which allow a very open approach to them, and also the tenuous links which, most of the time, allow for a constructive relationship. Dignity permeates bioethics.
